Engineer in Computer Systems from the Technological Institute of Colima, Master in Information Technology from Monash University (Australia), and PhD in Computer Science from the Université Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis (France).
She worked for more than 10 years as Production Coordinator at the Centro Universitario de Producción de Medios Didácticos (now Dirección General de Recursos Educativos) at the Universidad de Colima, and since 2004 she has been an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Telematics. Her research interests are human-computer interaction, digital accessibility, usability, and educational technology for inclusion.
