Access to information is a fundamental human right. According to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948, the right of access to information is part of the fundamental right to freedom of expression. Thanks to the Internet, today it can be said that in most countries, people enjoy access to all kinds of content in different media: text, image, audio and video, and through different digital devices: desktop computers, laptops. and mobile devices. However, there is a significant segment of the world's population who find it difficult and sometimes impossible to access content; These are people with disabilities, who require some adaptations at the device level and at the content level, depending on their physical and sensory capabilities. In this chapter we will focus on access for the visually impaired.
