Head of IHC
Professor and researcher at the University of Colima, attached to the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. She obtained the degree of Doctor of Information Technology from the University of Guadalajara. She focuses on the Human-Computer Interaction area. Her research interests include serious gaming, user experience design, accessibility, and social computing.
She serves as the IHC Latino Community Coordinator (LAIHC). She is Co-Coordinator of the Latin American Committee of ACM SIGCHI. Likewise, she participates as Secretary in the direct table of the Mexican Association of Human-Computer Interaction (AmexIHC). She is also a member of the Executive Committee of ACM-W North America. She belongs to the National System of Researchers of CONACYT.
