This work presents i-CARE, a mobile application based on emerging technologies for the remote monitoring of physiological variables of pediatric pain. This system uses the Internet of Medical Things and Biofeedback paradigms that allow children to learn the self-regulation of physiological variables, oxygen saturation, and heart rate frequency interactively and playfully. After using i-CARE for a month and a half, participants of this study changed their perception of pain, but not physiological variables. i-CARE was evaluated using TAM and SUS test, and both were adapted to the hospital children.
