This week, the Latin Community of Human-Computer Interaction of the ACM SIGCHI (LAIHC, https://www.laihc.org/) is celebrating, since its flagship conference in its tenth edition was held under the modality « online » CLIHC 2021 (https://clihc2021.laihc.org/).

The event was organized by Dr. Yazmín Magallanes from the University of the Americas, Dr. Sanely Gaytán from the University of Colima —and IHC manager at the IHCLab—, both from Mexico, and Dr. Claudia López from the Federico Santa María Technical University of Chile.

Thanks to the hard work of organization, we were fortunate to have the presence of researchers who are leaders in the area, such is the case of the main speakers, Dr. Cecilia Baranauskas, Dr. Alfredo Sánchez —who has been a fundamental part of the IHC community— and Dr. Heidy Maldonado, who managed to pass on her passion for research to us. We were also able to access the knowledge of experts in the tutorials, where we had the participation of Dr. Silvia Fajardo —responsible for Accessibility at the IHCLab— with the workshop "Good accessibility practices on your website", to Víctor García from BBVA México with the workshop "Strategic design for the management of a portfolio of projects in a large-scale organization" and Dr. Heloisa Candello from the IBM Research laboratory in Brazil with her workshop "Research Methods for Design and Evaluation of Conversational User Interfaces" in addition to have quality scientific papers that will be published by ACM in the International Conference Proceeding Series (ICPS, https://dl.acm.org/doi/proceedings/10.1145/3488392)

For the IHCLab it was a pride to have collaborated in the organization of the event, both in the general organization and in the creation and maintenance of the website, we are ready to continue collaborating, see you in Chile!
