With the accelerated adoption of technology in the educational field and the increased amounts of data generated, the creation of systems that facilitate decision-making in this scenario is a priority. This paper presents a design proposal for a Balanced Scorecard system to support educational management in Higher Education Institutions. Using user-centered methods, a first prototype was developed to validate the proposal viability and effectiveness, and key indicators were proposed to feed the system. With this approach, educational managers can make informed decisions about the current state of their institution in real-time.
